My husband and I found this place and I was super excited they had a keto bun option! The keto bun wasn’t gross or hard like others can be. My husband loved his regular bun. The burgers were one of the best we’ve ever had! Perfect seasoning and nice sport bar atmosphere. The only regret was eating this late at night.

Update for second visit: another great meal. Brought family visiting from out of state and they really liked their burgers, even someone who doesn't usually order a burger! ---- Great burgers even though they're really too big. Cut the prices and the size of the burger and we'd be thrilled. If you want to save a few bucks, the burgers are large enough to split, but beware they are messy. The messy part is tasty so that's not a negative; we really enjoyed ours! I had the Mr. Beckham and my wife had The Lulu. (Tip for a less-spicy Lulu: order Jalapeno slices on the side and pull some seeds before putting the slices on the burger.) Burgers were prepared well and toppings were plentiful. Fries were tasty, too, and it's nice they come with your order. The staff was friendly. Note this is an order-at-the-counter place, so there's no sit-down service. That's not a negative, but something we weren't aware of so I wanted to mention it. Also, it's set up like a small bar inside, so there's not much seating. That means you'll want to beat any dinner rush unless you want to sit at an outside table. (Not a bad spot to eat but a bit weather-dependent in terms of temperature.) All-in-all, a great spot we stumbled upon and will visit again when we're in the area.

This is an excellent place to eat and enjoy a beer. Everyone is so friendly. I had a grass fed burger with bacon and topping. Then added the regular fries. I had to have the bartender take away the plate because I just kept taking one more bite. The beef was amazingly delicious and cooked to perfection with crispy bacon. The toppings, lettuce, tomato and onion were so fresh. Price is very good and so worth it. Stop here and you will not be disappointed!!

This is my 100% honest review for the Padre Island Burger Company at 11878 SH-361 Corpus Christi, TX 78418. We got their fried pickles, I built my burger with swiss cheese, sauteed jalepenos, lettuce, onion and pickles with tater tots and onion rings. My husband got their Dr Padre Burger. First I’d like to say that as soon as we walked in, we felt welcomed. Very polite staff! The vibes are there too, not too loud, not too quiet. They played pretty decent music as well. The fried pickles were extremely tasteful. Perfect amount of juicy and crunchy. LOVED the batter used on them. For my burger: I’ve never had better. Juicy, seasoned and cooked to perfection. The vegetables were very fresh and the cheese was melted beautifully. The bun was like nothing I’ve had before either. The whole thing was just delicious. For my husband’s burger (and these words are his): best burger he has ever had as well. Perfect meal after a day at work. A huge plus was that my 5 month old loved decorations on the walls! (There were much more pickles but I hate them)

I’ve spent every birthday here for the last 3 years and continued it this year for my 37th! Love this place! 7 hour drive for me to get to the island, great burgers and great vibes!

This is a bar/restaurant. Their burgers are top notch. You build a burger or order a part custom burger. I ordered the burger special. Chili Cheese Frito burger. It will be taken off the menu in the next couple weeks for the summer. I wish I had a photo of it. It has a 1/2 lb brave heart beef patty, Beef chili, Fritos, cheddar cheese, onion. I added lettuce, tomato, mayo & pickle. I'm not sure of the bun but I'd say it was a real Texas toast bin. Super thick. When it was all put together. It was 6 inches high. Yeah... That's a Texas sized sandwich. Had it with a side of onion rings and a coke. Oh yeah... Today was a good day for burger lovers. I ate the whole thing and now I need a nap.

This is one of the best burgers I’ve had out here. Build your own makes it that much better. Lots of drink options and a well stocked bar. Gotta love it! Gluten free buns available too.

This place was an absolute surprise. I ordered the Chronic with a side of queso and it was fantastic. The grilled green chilli's along with the sweet sourdough bun really brought this burger home. The bun was the perfect size, it soaked up the juiciness of the burger but didn't get soggy or fall apart. The burger itself had a nice crust on the outside but juicy on the inside. One of the best burgers I have had in a long time. This place is a low key bar with great burgers. I would definitely recommend stopping in and we will definitely be back.
